Happy Lunar New Year! 2017 marks the year of the Fire Rooster, and it’s supposed to be a powerful one. Make sure you look your best, and be clear about what you want on matters of the heart, wallet, and work place. Keep it simple, and don’t go taking part in risky behaviour.
Remember: every animal can have stellar year by tapping into Rooster traits. These include loyalty, commitment, hard work, and family values.
RAT (1912, 1924, 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008)
This year, rats need to keep their head up in order to stay on top of things. It’s a rat-race out there, as they say. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the Rooster is not your friend. You’ll need to work your tail off and be quick on your paws to over-come obstacles. Focus on what you want, pay attention to detail and be smart about pursuing opportunities.
OX (1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009)
Ox, it’s your lucky year! Let the good times roll, because your BFF Rooster is running the show in 2017. There’s romance in the air, so keep an eye out for Mr. or Mrs. Ox for some oxxx lovin’. Work will be hard but fulfilling, and family ties are smooth as can be. You’re one stubborn animal, but this year things will come much easier to you. Fit everything you can into this year, because the next two years will be chilled out before you begin a new cycle in 2020.
TIGER (1914, 1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010)
You’re still nursing your ‘Year of the Monkey’ hangover, so be chill and flexible. Don’t go around starting fights (mind that Tiger temper for once!) because you’re not coming out on top. Remember who you are: you’re a majestic Tiger! You’re strong, honest, independent, yet super sociable. Be patient and remember you have tons of support from friends, family, and coworkers. Your year is coming – no really, 2018 is the year of the Dog, and that’s when the luck will come your way.
RABBIT (1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011)
Ohhh Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit. You’re literally the worst affected animal in 2017 because the Rooster is your sworn enemy. The biggest thing you need to focus on is your health. Use those floppy-ears to listen to your body, and make sure to take care of yourself. Also, be sure to monitor your wallet. You’re a little too chilled out about debt, and it will come back to haunt you. This will force you to work your cottontail off, which will be frustrating to you. Maybe next year, Rabbit… maybe next year.
DRAGON (1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012)
Unlike Rabbit, you and Rooster are on good terms. 2017 is going to bring you plenty of awesome times. Prepare to feel #blessed in terms of money, love, work, family, friends… the list goes on and on. Look to friends for support and possible new and interesting opportunities. It’s one of your best years yet, you lucky dragon! You have tons of energy, so just try not to burn out. Otherwise, it’s smooth sailing for this fire-breathing reptile.
SNAKE (1917, 1929, 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013)
Rooster is a friend of yours, so you’re slithering into 2017 with lots of opportunities on the horizon. You’re also, like, really popular, so prepare for everyone to be ~*obsessed*~ with you. You’re having trouble making up your mind about what you want to do this year – you have tons of passion, so you just need to focus and you can achieve great things. Figure out what you want, and you’ll probably succeed because doors are opening left, right and center.
HORSE (1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014)
If you’re looking for love, this year is your year. Drag a comb through that mane and prepare to meet ‘The One’. Just like most years, you’re the center of attention, and because you are such a nice, funny, outgoing horse, you have tons of horse friends. The only thing this Rooster year is taking away from you is time. Don’t fret – you will get lots done, you just need to work hard and be patient. Everything happens at exactly the time it’s supposed to, trust.
SHEEP (1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015)
Sheep like to graze, chill out, and enjoy a passive, calm life. Well, Rooster is COCKA-DOODLING, and it’s time to wake up. This year will push you past your comfort zone, and you have to work hard. However, this will help you pay attention to spending habits, relationships, and work projects. You’re a responsible sheep this year. Seriously though, it’s actually a secretly good year – it’s time to shine and push past your sheepishness into the spotlight.
MONKEY (1920, 1932, 1944, 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016)
The party is over. It’s now time to put your head down and work hard. You’ll find your love, family, and friend life stabilize. Now, you can still enjoy 2017, but it’s definitely a more relaxed year. There’s not much else to say, but we gave you an entire year in 2016, so you can chill out now.
ROOSTER (1921, 1933, 1945, 1957, 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017)
THIS. IS. YOUR. YEAR. You’re so in sync this year, it’s ridiculous. When life swings left, you’re left. When it’s right, you’re right. And we all know you love to be right. Whatever projects you have going on will pick up speed. It’s a year to market yourself in every aspect: love, money, jobs, and friends. The world is on your side, you just need to get everyone in it to believe in you and you’re golden. This year is also a great time for rebirth. Maybe shed some feathers, or declutter your life.
DOG (1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006)
It’s a somewhat challenging year for this pup, but you’ll rise above it because you’re super friendly and have a great support system. It’s actually a great year for learning or education. Maybe take a course somewhere and feed your mind this year. Your health and love life are on the rise, so 2017 will be pretty decent. And even if it sucks, you’re such a positive person that you’ll see the bright side.
PIG (1923, 1935, 1947, 1959, 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007)
This little piggy is going to the bank in 2017. Money is rollin’ in this year, but you need to work hard and be patient. Don’t get your tail in a curl over other people’s issues; relationships are changing, and what used to be important might not be anymore. Appreciate people for who and what they are, and always remember to be true to yourself. #selflove
