Scalene
Transience, subtlety, asymmetry and clarity are aesthetic principles that underpin the second instalment of a photo series by artist and photographer Abigail Lomboy. As we continue our exploration into twins and triplets, Glossi Mag explores the idea of duality within the physical and digital realm, evoking the spirit of the scalene triangle. Harmony is created through the usage of complementary colours blue and orange, creating a balance between hot and cold, stimulating and calming, and pleasure and power. Fire and ice, earth and sky, land and sea. The two colours kindle the conscious mind, while the imagery of twins and triplets form a pleasing and consistent whole.
